<p>Senate File 46 could double the number of medical CBD dispensaries in the state, increasing patient access to cannabis products. However, critics argue the market may not sustain the expansion without broader reforms. At the same time, the Iowa House is moving to regulate THC-infused beverages under open container laws, making it illegal to have an open THC drink in a vehicle (House Study Bill 29). Both measures highlight the ongoing debate over balancing access, safety, and market sustainability in Iowa’s cannabis industry.</p>
